Big Fish

Before you panic and think its a picture of a big fish, fear not!
It's actually the name of a restaurant.

Been wanting to try this restaurant for sometime now. Its located a short walk from our place. Finally decided to give it a try tonight. Boy, did I regret not coming here sooner.

Big Fish Restaurant serves fish and various seafood
(Duh!, hence the name?).
It took us sometime before deciding on what we want to eat.

First up, white baits!
Definitely one of the best. Its crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Taste great with Tartar sauce (which is meant for our main dish).

Next is our seafood chowder with bread. Bread is very good, think its bake with rosemary herb in it. Seafood chowder is thick and creamy but without the overwhelming seafood taste. Soup comes with a mussel, a prawn, some bits of squid and fish chunks.

Classic Fish and Chips. Served with garden salad and fries. This has now become my official fish and chip benchmark. Very Yum!

Another one of our main dish. Barramundi fish. You can choose between pan-fried or grilled. In this case, I choosed pan-fried. Fish is served with garden salad, vegetables & mushrooms (under the fish), mash potatoes, sprinkled in olive oil, balsamic vinegar and some other stuff. This was recommneded by the waiter, as he said, this fish is really soft and quite smooth. *Made a mistake and went to see what is a Barramundi fish look like... hhmm... don't look so nice. For anyone who is interested, you can check it out on Wikipedia.

Picture of part of the restaurant near closing time. Almost everything is painted with this aqua-marine color, sort of blue mixed with green.

Definitely must try! Expect to pay about $20-30 per head.
