Movie Review: Scoop

Caught this show over the weekend.



















Overall, I liked this show. It's light hearted, funny and an unexpected twist at the end. I think it's very Woody Allen style. Great acting from Scarlett Johansson who plays a journalism student, naive and absolutely loveable character. Woody Allen plays a quirky old magician who I think its the life of the show. Hugh Jackman was charming but at some point, not very convincing in his role.

Overall, I give it a rating of 7/10.

Movie Review: World Trade Center

We went to watch this show before it was shown in Singapore.
Caught it during our Thailand, Bangkok trip 2 weeks ago.



















Frankly, I think I got cheated by the title. I was expecting somewhat a large scale of things happening during the World Trade incident, rather then watching the show about 2 guys being trapped! I meant its heartwarming, overall feel good about the human spirit etc etc. But the title deceived me. They should renamed the show to call it "Two guys trapped under World Trade Center". Shesh.

Overall, I give it a rating of 6/10.

Wow! Been so long since I last posted here.
Better start cleaning do some spring cleaning... but it's not Spring, winter cleaning?
