eBlackBoard @ Bedok
Finally got the chance to try this friendly neighbourhood western restaurant, eBlackboard. We have been wanting to eat there since we saw the program on Channel 8.
eBlackboard @ Bedok and our serving of calamari. Calarmari is big and thick but I personally think the batter is too thick.
My order of BB Burger, 300g of meat!! It's huge. I think the patty is a little dry, but the buns are nice. Come with some fresh veg and serving of tuscan fries. Fries portion also quite generous but get a bit salty after awhile. Seasoning Overload!!!
Audrey's order of Famous Cajun Chicken. I think her food tasted better. Chicken is tender and the sauce is quite nice (BBQ Sauce with a tinge of pineapple). Side dishes are tuscan fries and colesaw.

Amelie @ 1 Year Old
It's Amelie's 1 year old birthday party! We arrived late as we were at my friend's daughter's first month celebration. So, by the time we arrived, everyone is nicely fed and watered. Shortly after our dinner, its time for birthday cake!
Here is the birthday girl, Amelie sitting in front of her cake.
Time to blow candles!
After all food, drinks and cake, its down to some "serious" reading.

Callum's Passport
Got an email today from ICA telling me that Callum passport is ready for collection, but have to collect with the passport with Callum in person. So with Callum in tow, we headed to ICA building at Lavender.
I alway detest coming to this place as the parking is totally crap! I have to circle around the carpark and finally settle down to wait at one spot. After a period of waiting, I finally able to get a lot. Put a parking coupon and off I went to collect his passport.
Collected his passport after 30 mins wait, there were 35 people in front of us, so its not too bad. Callum got the latest passport with BioPass, wonder what the heck does that do.... anyway, here is an image of his passport.
His picture was taken by me and crop to portion.
Here is the cropped version:
In order to get this picture, I took over 90 pictures!!!
Here is a collection of him, and that's only half of it.

Callum First Tooth
Callum is teething!
No wonder he is so grouchy these days. We discovered it last Friday but only managed to get a picture of it today. He was crying to be fed, so I thought it will be a perfect time to take picture of his tiny teeth.
Here is a up-close picture:
After drinking his milk, he is all happy and acting cute!

IPPT
Sigh... Another dreadful time for me.
It's time for my IPPT test, one of my nemeses, as I have only passed once ever since I left army!
So when its time, I dragged myself to Maju Camp for my test. After going through the "security" check which basically checked if your mobile phone has a camera (*nevermind the bomb in the boot*), I was able to enter into the camp and in-process for the IPPT test.
Soon, the impending doom looms. We proceed to the multi-purpose hall for the test. It turns out that there is a new system in place. All IPPT stations are replaced by machine (with PTIs supervising, of course) and you are able to choose which station to go first!!
So I started out with Shuttle run as its the nearest to me, that was a piece of cake. :) Next was standing broad jump which sadly, I can only managed a pass (too much fat to lug). Then my first hurdle, the chin-up bar. Surprisingly, I managed to pass the chin-up! That really boosted my morale. So I proceed to my last station which is the sit-up. I was fairly confident that I was able to get high score but I was disappointed. Guess my tummy really grow over time. Nevertheless, I managed to pass but not the desired result.
Now, its judgement time. Its the 2.4Km run. After sitting around, doing some stretching, its finally time for the run. I started the run with this older guy ahead of me, so I decided to run behind him. After 1 lap, I was still behind him and doing good time... took me under 4mins to do one run (3 laps in total). When I enter the second lap, I can feel all the fatigue setting in, my steps are getting smaller and feels alot heavier... and still, I am behind this older guy... Starting the third lap, my eyes are getting blurry and I am grasping for air but I told myself, this the final lap and push and push.... and this is the result....
I passed!!! Woohoo!! No more IPPT test until next birthday.
Doh! That's just a few days away! Sigh. Guess I will be back in Maju camp soon enough.

Hot Baby!
Poor boy developed a fever last night. Put him in bed but he doesn't seem to sleep well... keeps having suddenly jolts and starts crying. After a couple of sudden cries, we realised that his body was pretty warm... and I took his temperature, it's at a high of 39.5 degree Celsius!! We got a shock and quickly pasted a cooling pad on his head. We also tried giving his water which he rejects... I even drove out to get glucose but he still refuses to drink. But for a kid who was having fever, he sure seemed happy.
Early next morning, we took him to see his regular doctor but it seems like his fever has gone down to under 38. Nonetheless, we think it's better to get it checked out. Turns out that its nothing serious, but we have to monitor him for the next 4 days for any signs of rashes which means it could be dengue... *shudders* *cross fingers*

Rainbows!
Saw some rainbows as I was driving back home.
Think this is the first time I ever see 2 rainbows together (the other rainbow is not that obvious). Click on picture for larger size picture.
A clearer picture of rainbow but just one rainbow.
